Bouncing Balls Hands on Training Assignment
Directions: Replicate this assignment of balls bouncing down stairs.
Step by step instructions provided.
1. Open Flash and save document as "Bouncing Balls".
2. Draw a platform for the balls to bounce down. i.e. stairs
Name this layer "stairs". Go to frame 60 of this layer and press F5. This extends the
stairs to frame 60.
3. Add a new layer and name the layer "red ball". Draw red ball and you will see a keyframe
appear in frame 1. A keyframe is a black, solid dot inside the frame. Next, you will add
a keyframe every 10 frames by pressing F6. AFTER you add a keyframe,
move the ball to a new location. Repeat pressing F6 (add keyframe) and move the ball.
Continue to move the ball down the stairs until you reach frame 60. All layers should stop
at the same frame in this exercise.
4. Add another layer for a different ball, change the ball color and repeat step 3.
5. Get as creative as you wish for this hands on training exercise.
Save your work. Press control+enter to create a .swf file. Send .swf for grading.
